FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Responsible for managing Club operations under supervision of the Area Director. Responsible for overseeing the delivery of a broad range of programs within a designated Club, such as Education, Social Recreation, Art & Crafts and Physical Education. Plans, develops, oversees implementation and supervises programs and program staff, and performs related administrative duties.
RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal - Maintain close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/instructions, and advise/counsel.
External - Maintain contact with other Clubs, vendors, consultants, organizations, government agencies and others to achieve program goals and objectives, manage costs, share information and resolve problems.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics.
- Demonstrated organizational, staff and project management abilities.
- Knowledge of the mission, objectives, policies, programs and procedures of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast; and the principles and practices of non-profit organization.
- Demonstration of ability to communicate with a variety of groups.
- Successful supervisory experience.
- Manage facility within budget.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- 64 credit hours in related area from an accredited college or university preferred, or equivalent experience.
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- CPR and First Aid Certifications required.
- CDL License Class B with passenger and airbrake endorsement preferred, or ability to obtain within 90 days.
- Child care training or possess CDA certifications.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record and consistent access to a motor vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three years' work experience in a Boys & Girls Club, or similar organization, planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people.

PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
(Part-Time During School Year, Up to 40 Hours/Week During Summer Session)
PROGRAM SPECIALIST
Organize and implement Boys & Girls Clubs programs in the Club for different age groups. Encourage Club members to participate in programs and supervise them in the program area. Take charge of ordering and securing materials for programs as directed.

DRIVER/PROGRAM SPECIALIST
Drive Club vehicles, including buses and vans, to provide transportation for Club members and staff. Transportation needs may include: transportation to and from school, field trips, and sporting events. Assist and organize Boys & Girls Club programs in the Club for different age groups. Encourage Club members to participate in programs and supervise them in the program area.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be available to drive for evening and weekend events.
- Perform duties related to vehicle maintenance and record keeping.
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class B with passenger/air brake endorsement.
- Must meet insurability standards.
- Monday through Friday, additionally available for evening and weekend events.

MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR
Responsible for overseeing Club member registration, attendance documentation, and eligibility for organization's services. Maintain records for Club member: attendance, applications, program involvement, and tuition financials. Track and utilize information to complete reports. Assist with Club programs.
